Ottobratica olive
The Ottobratica variety native to the province of Reggio Calabria is the most widespread in the vast Piana di Gioia Tauro plains. The name of the oil derives from the fact that the optimal ripening takes place in October ("ottobre" in Italian).
Ottobratica has a significant amount of vitamin E thanks to a high content of tocopherols, and a surprising phenolic charge that gives it stability and makes it a strong natural antioxidant.
